At Elliott Park School we will:-
(a) encourage children to do their best at all times and to take pride in their
achievements;
(b) inform parents of children’s progress via assessments, written reports, and
at regular face to face meetings;
(c) set, mark and monitor class and homework;
(d) keep parents up-to-date concerning school activities through Newsletters, Minutes
of PTA Meetings, Text Messages and via the Web-Site;
(e) let parents know about any concerns which affect their child’s work or behaviour;
(f) encourage children to take care of their surroundings and others around them;
(g) provide a safe, happy environment.

As a family we will:-
(a) make sure our child(ren) arrive(s) on time and attend(s) regularly, suitably equipped
in uniform and with appropriate writing materials;
(b) keep the school informed when absence occurs;
(c) attend evenings/meetings established to discuss children’s progress;
(d) work in partnership with the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour;
(e) support school activities, including Sports Day, Competitive games, Prize/Speech Day,
Plays and Musical Events;
(f) co-operate with the school to help our child(ren) achieve their potential;
